The A-SDR4 and A-SDR4E only units have a SHVS connector on the rear panel, but the SVHS connector does not output live video, why is this?
A. The A-SDR4 and the A-SDR4E recorders are designed to receive analog video input and directly send out an analog video image. The SVHS function required additional analog to digital conversation not included in the recorder. The SVHS output is intended for the viewing of stored images during the playback operation only.
