If you were a child of the 80’s, then you know this look was all the rage back then. Fast forward to today and you’ll see they’ve made a dramatic comeback. So to be fashion savvy and right on trend, would you wear these jeans? WHAT EXACTLY ARE THESE JEANS? The acid wash, also known as marble, frosted or ice wash was a form of chemically bleaching jeans. It broke down the denim fibers and forced the dye to fade and bleach. Porous stones that were soaked in chlorine bleach would be tumbled in humongous washers along with the denim. This repetitive action of the stones against the denim would unevenly bleach out the jeans and create a mottled effect.
