Thats all very well, but I have an NPPL licence – isn that different?
Well it used to be, but no longer. From 31st January 2008 the revalidation requirements for the NPPL holder are broadly the same as set out in Q1 above. The NPPL is a licence in which can be included up to three Aeroplane Class ratings, ie Simple Single Engine (SSE), Self Launching Motor Glider (SLMG), and Microlight (M). All class ratings have a validity period and come under a common set of requirements.
