Thanks anyway but only one more wall question. What causes the large white spots on some brick walls and will this brick do that?

Those spots are caused by efflorescence, a process where water that gets into the brick seeps out and brings with it a salt substance that causes those spots. This will not happen with this brick, and if it did the extra white flash that is added to the brick would keep it from being visible because they both look the same.
