TestTrack Studio recently won a Jolt Product Excellence Award. What was that like?
That was exciting for the team because they all have a great deal of pride in the product. They know that they do good work and produce a great product, so that was validation of the fact. We already receive excellent feedback from customers, and hopefully, this award and the release of TestTrack 2008 will bring us to the attention of new customers. How do you see TestTrack fitting into Seapine Software’s vision of quality-centric application lifecycle management? TestTrack is just one piece of the solution. As I said, our products are highly integrated, and we use all of our products internally. We keep our source code in Surround SCM. On the TestTrack team, we do a daily integration build and have automated QA Wizard Pro scripts that perform some regression testing. TestTrack fits in by giving us control of and access to data about our process. Early in the development cycle, we use a TestTrack Pro project to manage the design of new features.
