Terminate lease early if pregnant & having baby will exceed occupancy limit law of 2 people per room?
You will still have to pay it’s not your landlords fault you are having a baby and you signed the lease knowing that was there rule. I say four months big deal. Deal with it for 4 months and then get a bigger place. I certainly wouldn’t move out and have to pay two rents for four months over a tiny baby. Chances are no one will say anything. I know around here it’s two people per room but they don’t say anything if you have more unless it’s really overcrowded or they are paying utilities.
You could call the office as a prospective tenant and find out how strict they are about the rule. They may not care at all because it’s a newborn. Tell ’em you want to sign a lease but you may get pregnant while your living there and will it be a problem. We moved into our apt. before I got pregnant and we’ve never had a problem with the management here.
