I guess it would be a bit like football coverage on the radio although a bit more predictable. Football commentators tend to just give a list of names. I should imagine that tennis commentary would be: “Murray serves, to Federer, back to murray, federer, murray, federer, murray misses.

I listened to the French Open final on Radio 5 live a few sundays ago, Federer and Nadal, it was strange as you could you know the outcome by the noise of the crowd before the commentators say it. I dont think it’s for radio either. but when you want to know a result you cant complain!
