Tax File Number Declaration Form – What is it?

0

Your employer should hand you a Tax File Number Declaration Form when they employ you. Click on this link to see an example only – TFN Declaration Form. You are to fill out the yellow section and your employer fills out the pink section. Your employer will then tear off the coloured page and send it to the ATO. This registers you and your employer with the Australian Taxation Office – the first step to getting your taxback. It’s important that you fill this out correctly or you could be chasing your group certificates and have issues getting your tax back. For more information about getting yourself sorted you can attend our FREE orientation every Monday & Thursday at 2:00pm.
