I would back the wolf; wolves are smart fighters, they would tire the tiger out before striking safely. The Tasmanian tiger is a marsupial, which includes animals like the kangaroo, koala, wombat, honey possum etc… The name of the Tasmanian tiger comes from the wolf like, striped features of the animal. Unfortunately, the last wild Tasmanian tiger is thought to have died in 1933, and I have no reports of its territorial behavior.
