Tapes! Who voted to destroy crucial state security evidence?
The truth is, they don’t want knowledge of the widespread torture and Renditions that are taking place with the full knowledge and support of the thugs in this Administration. They will claim National Security and halt any investigation they can, and I wonder if the federal judge will tell them to go fly a kite. I don’t like the idea of Bush or his Justice Department telling our courts what to do. The courts have greater jurisdiction than the executive branch and let’s hope that judge doesn’t let them get away with their secretive, shifty moves. Tapes destroyed, one million missing e-mails….and Heaven knows what’s going through the shredding machine. How stupid does Bush think the American people are? He can fool a few loyalists, who excuse his every imperialistic move, but he cannot fool them all!
