Taking The Piss Or What?
How the hell can you support a political party that has dragged you into an illegal war in Iraq, bankrupted you, your children and your children’s children and is up to its eyeballs in sleaze and corruption? The reason I’m asking this is because I keep on hearing that Labour is slowly catching up with the Conservatives in the polls. The latest survey has supposedly registered the Tories leading by only 8 per cent, with 38 to 30 points respectively, with the Liberal Democrats hovering around 20 per cent. Now, I don’t trust opinion polls. I consider them biased, one way or another, and I even think they should be banned at certain periods, because they tend to be used by unscrupulous people to influence election results. I’d even go as far as suggesting that distorting polls designed to establish the popularity of political parties should be made a criminal offence. Pollsters caught cheating should be fined or prosecuted and banged up in the slammer. But maybe it’s just me. Maybe I’m not
