T/F: Ambitious ppl can never be completely happy. Is this a Sagittarius trait?
This is something that has been brought up by one of my most respected spiritual gurus, Osho (incidentally also a Sagittarius). Yes, I totally agree that ambitious people can never be completely happy or at ease because all their dreams are built in the future and all the while, they are missing the present. The mind is also hankering for the future, which is essentially something that doesn’t exist. And when it gets there, it is always unsatisfied. The moment something is achieved, it wants more. This is the Mind and Ego being accomplices in the same time – they are expert at creating more and bigger problems. In Osho’s words, ‘all success leads to failure’. He took the example of Alexander the Great – an Aries, for the day he conquered the world, he sat down and wept for there was no more world to conquer and he was ultimately thrown back to himself…this is what we all have to go through, being thrown back to ourselves instead of seeking answers in the external world.
