System suitable for accepting Spa waste discharges?

0

The Biolytix Operator’s Manual states that discharge of pool and spa waste is not suitable for discharge to the Biolytix System. This generic statement has been included in the Operator’s Manual as some large spas would exceed the daily hydraulic capacity of the Biolytix System. The system is capable of treating spa waste that is within the hydraulic capacity of the treatment facility. Typically the peak spa wastewater flow rate would need to be limited to 300 litres/hour approximately. The total wastewater daily flow from the premises, including spa wastewater, should not exceed the system capacity of 1600Litres/day. If a large spa was required to be emptied at a flow rate in excess of these figures a storage tank prior to the Biolytix System would be necessary to buffer the spa water discharges to an acceptable level.
