Swollen leg, red, from knee to toe, could it be broke?
My ex had the same type of injury just did it in a different way, he ended up waiting about 2 or 3 weeks before going into the doctor and that was a mistake. He didn’t have any idea even that he had got a scratch or poke but even the smallest cut can cause Staff. His injury turned out to be a Staff infection and he almost lost his leg. The redness and warmth is infection, also the swelling with the numbness is telling you that it is getting severe. They will have to drain his leg of all the infected fluid that is causing the swelling and will probably either put him on antibiotics or do a IV if it is already that severe. I suggest going into the Emergency room very soon so he can start to get it taken care of before it is too late. Good luck and I hope he is ok.
