Swollen chest pains + cracking (left side) plus mucus in the morning (used to include blood), can you help?
My symptoms have been on and off for a few years now. As explained in the subject title my left side of my chest becomes swollen and makes a cracking/popping noise. I’m pretty sure it’s the upper parts of my ribs. When I start to worry about it I tend to get an achy left arm, as well as palpitations on extreme occasions. As the cracking and pains happen on the left side I’ve had to ban myself from sleeping that way because it makes it worse. On top of that in the mornings when it happens I get a lot of mucus/phlegm which is stuck in my throat in the mornings. On specific occasions in which I’d eat food at 9-10PM+ (which I obviously don’t do now once I noticed the pattern) blood would be mixed in with it. I never feel to the need to cough it up, I can just feel it in my throat and I get it out with little effort. It would get worse at times when I’ve slept on my back, making it a complete no-no.
