Surely the magpie would make a good badge – why not produce one?
When trying to devise a national fundraising scheme, it is important to make sure we produce badges with the widest possible appeal, that therefore have the best chance of raising money. We can’t afford to produce badges of every British species, and magpie would not be high on the list of popular birds.
