Surely artificial milk is more convenient, especially in public?
If you are feeding your baby with artificial milk it is essential that you sterilise the bottle before every feed, which is not always convenient if your baby is crying out to be fed in the middle of a street or at night. Breast milk is sterile and is easy to do discretely in public places. If you are worried about feeling self-conscious in public, try experimenting at home with a scarf, button through shirt or a combination of layered clothing until you find a way that works best for you.
