Suppose I take the on-line test and the video and written exams but don receive a passing grade. Can I re-take the exams to try to do better?
If you do not pass the exams the first time you take them, you may try again in 6 months. The same is true if you withdraw from the exam process during the video or written tests; you can re-apply in 6 months. However, if you complete the exam process, receive a passing grade, and are placed on the eligible list, you cannot take the exam again to try to better your score. Once you receive a score and are on the list, you are eligible for 12 months. If you are not hired within that period of time and you want to remain on the eligible list, you should re-apply after your score has expired.
