Supplemental Medical Plan What happens to my Supplemental Medical Plan through HealthFirst?
As part of these changes, Supplemental Medical coverage will no longer be offered to retirees who are age 65 and over. If you are not yet 65 and are enrolled in Supplemental Medical coverage, you may continue your coverage until age 65. If you are not yet 65 and decide that you no longer want to be enrolled in Supplemental Medical, American will allow you to opt out of the coverage during October Benefits Enrollment.
