Suggestions for using ATX’s Odor-Kill & Stain Remover for the removal of stain & odor of camel urine on carpet?
Depending on the severity of the problem, which I have assumed is fairly severe, I would like to suggest to do any combination of the following: 1. Soak up as much urine as possible with absorbent cloths, sponges, etc. 2. Mix a 20:1 solution (30 oz of water and 2 oz product per quart bottle). Saturate the area (pour it on the area). Take a hard bristle brush and work in the solution deep into the carpet. Soak it up with cloths and sponges. When water and the product hits the urine there will very likely be a bad smell from the off gassing of the urine. Don’t worry. Pour the water in the quart container first and then add the product; this will prevent so much bubbling. No harm done if you do it the reverse. The solution and bubbles that go down the drain will actually help clean bad odors in the drain. Also, if you can use warm water instead of cold water when mixing, it is preferable. 3. My best estimate, not knowing the details of the problem is to repeat step # 2 at least 1 more tim
