At 0713 PM 08/30/00 -0400, you wrote Thanks for the great service! I placed my order by phone on Monday and it was delivered today (Wednesday). I ve got a question about the MAHA MH-C777 charger. Can this charger be used to charge, not condition, a 4 or 7 amp, 6 volt lead-acid sealed/gel cell battery? I know I can always use a wall wart to trickle charge, but if the C777 can do it without damage to either the charger or battery, I d like to use it. Thanks Steve s…..@erols.com Answer #15: Steve – The C777 is designed for and should only be used to charge NiMH or NiCD battery types. Again since we do not list the Maha C-777 charger as a Li-ION, Lead Acid, or as Rechargeable Alkaline capable charger it should be understood that you should not charge these batteries with the MAHA C-777 Rapid Charger. Use only a charger designed for these types of batteries.
