Stupid question but you do have the AR correction set to “no aspect ratio correction” on the main resize settings page, right?

I guess the old adage about ‘There Are No Stupid Questions’ applies here. I ticked that box and problem solved. For some reason I had “Keep Original Aspect Ratio” button checked instead of no aspect ratio correction.
