StudentProfiler is nice but do we really need it?
Every district is mandated to track and report students’ progress toward the High Profile (Minnesota Graduation Standards). StudentProfiler is the tool our district designed to do this. In addition, school districts must follow complex and changing data practices laws; both at the State and Federal level. StudentProfiler allows us to suppress data that parents have requested not be released, either for general purposes or, specifically, military recruiting purposes. Our students systems software is not able to handle this sophisticated reporting.
