I am not a professional mason, but I know you can cut marble tile with a miter saw and the right blade. Just don’t rush the blade, just feed it through slowly. Marble isn’t as hard as granite or even glazed ceramic. The problem is that there will be lots of fine, abrasive dust that will get everywhere, including inside the saw (and inside your eyes and lungs if you don’t wear a mask and goggles.) You could try dribbling some water on the cut line with a water bottle, but that will sling marble mud around, and might not help with the dust either, unless you can rig a constant flow. Wet saws are a hassle, but they are actually designed to cut that stuff, that’s why they are good at it. Another thing to think about is holding those little tile steady on the saw. You can try using your hand, but if I were you I might rig some kind of clamp. You know, if you have just a few straight cuts, you might try using a dremel tool and those thin cu
