STICK SHIFT: What are your best tips / advice for learning to drive a manual transmission?
Here are my three pieces of advice: a) Although some people believe that the fullest driving experience can only be achieved by being fast and aggressive, I believe it can best be achieved by being gentle and smooth; b) Excellence in driving, like many things in life, demands an approach which is primarily psychological not physical; c) As a great philosopher once noted, “The harder we try, the worse we play.”
