Stephen DAngelo is retiring… what does this mean for Magic Scout and new databases?
• Although Magic Scout depends on public and sanctioned Magic© data sources, we are not directly dependent on any one repository. We will continue to modify the Magic Scout Generator to collect and process data from wherever the data is available and most current. Note that Wizards of the Coast has officially announced that they will take over Stephen’s excellent database, and intends to continue this excellent heritage of Magic© data. We will monitor this situation closely and adapt accordingly. I found a bug. How do I report it? • We welcome all feedback from our users, including bug reports, suggestions, gripes and complaints. Is Magic Scout available for Pocket PC, Windows, Linux, Macintosh, or other operating systems? • Not at this time. Windows and Pocket PC are strong candidates, but Macintosh and Linux are unlikely.
