Stay home for University, or go to the University I actually want to attend.?
You can always go back home. I am assuming home will be there for a while. But you will probably only get one chance to choose a university. Some people stay around home so long that they wish they had taken that one opportunity to get away and see different things and places. Your opportunity is still knocking. Don’t pass it up. Get away. Meet new people. Enjoy life to the fullest. If you stay, you’ll be happy you didn’t have to miss your friends and family for the next however many years you go to college. But if you don’t go, you might regret it for the rest of your life. Option 1: Stay home, stay comfortable. Don’t have to miss anyone for about 4 years, but may regret it for a lifetime. Option 2: Go explore. Meet people and see places you may never have the chance again to see. You may miss loved ones and feel homesick, but it’s worth it. Later when your in your 30’s and 40’s, you will have some exciting stories, and people who didn’t grab at this kind of chance will envy you. GO!
