While there were some financial issues several years ago, there have been significant changes in the Iredell-Statesville Schools, including the appointment of Dr. Terry Holliday as school superintendent in 2002. Over the past 3 years, the school system has worked to regain the communitys trust by involving parents and community leaders in the facilities planning process, being open about school financial issues, and holding regular community forums to listen to and address concerns.
