Stabling a pet used to mean that if you placed a pet in a stables using the “stable” command, it would have to be taken out and put back within one real world week from the day you stabled it – otherwise the pet would be sold off. Now, however with the changes to stabling which means they are never full – depending on your character, the decay rate has been changed. If you log in with a character on one day, you can leave it as long as you like before logging in again. You would have 6 separate days in which you can log in safely before your pet decays. Say for example, I stabled a horse last week, but hadnt logged in since. It was over 7 days ago. I log in today, tommorrow and the day after. Making that a total of four days that I had logged in with that character (regardless of wether I had actually played for long). I would have 3 days left. I leave it a week, then log on again on two separate days. Now on the next day that I login I will have to get my pet
