Spotlight FAQ: How Does the Badge Pick-up Process Work?
If you are registered for SXSW, then you are probably wondering how to go about picking up your badge. Registration / badge pick-up opens on Level Four of the Austin Convention Center (500 E Cesar Chavez) on Thursday, March 12 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm for Austin residents and SXSW registrants who are staying in hotels on Thursday night. For everybody else, badge pick-up begins bright and early at 9:00 am on Friday, March 13. The best place to enter the building is at the 4th Street entrance. There, you will receive a green card asking for your information, which you can fill out on your way up the escalators to Level 4. Once you get to the top, you will be greeted by a Registration Volunteer who will take you to a Registration Station. There, you can turn in the green card you just filled out, and SXSW staff will look up your badge information. If you’ve already uploaded your photo using my.SXSW, that picture will be printed on your badge. If not, we will take your photo on the spot. Y
