Spiritually speaking, how sad are you that Michael Jackson is dead?
I was looking at old videos of the Jackson’s circa the release of their last album together before Michael started trying to convert himself into a white Diana Ross, I would say at the time he was one of the most attractive black men alive but apparently loathed his appearance. What a talent! This was before all the business with the 45 year old man living with other people’s children, which though he was acquitted on the molestation charges, was completely inappropriate and creepy. When he went solo and began writing his own music you got a sense of his genius with songs like “Man in the Mirror.” Watching him on stage with James Brown at the BET awards, doing James Brown’s signature dance moves better than James Brown…..it was breath-taking! I can’t say I will miss him, but I am saddened by how his life turned out, as he was, without doubt, the most singularly gifted performer of the 20th century, and if not for all of the weirdness of the past ten years, may well have gone on to be
