Special note (sheet 11) for unsealed JPC Pavement allows contraction and construction joints to be left unsealed. Does this also apply to sawed longitudinal joints?

This note is allowing for the use of the early-entry pavement saw on our concrete pavements. This type of saw cuts a 1/8th slot and is allowed by the note to be used on transverse contraction and construction joints only, at this time.
