Speakers impedance and quality?
I have the same system in a 18 x 25 room and it performs quite well, particularly the base. Have you used the microphone to do the auto set up? The manual explains the process if you have not. Hopefully you got the mic and manual with the deal. I haven’t really heard the LG set up but I have heard many more high dollar systems and have heard very little difference. Edit: I really don’t know to be honest. I would imagine that if it completed the setup process that it was sufficient. The previous owners may just have abused the speakers although they seem to do OK for me at or near max volume. The receiver limits the power to match the speakers max ability.
