Sourcing from China is all about price, right?
Yes and no. While the whole point of sourcing in China is to realize substantial savings, searching for a supplier only based on price can be disastrous. Our first step in searching for suppliers is to confirm product requirements with our client. Next we compare quotes from existing and newly sourced suppliers. If a supplier offers an extremely low quote, it suggests to us that they may be more concerned with turnover than product quality. We will audit the manufacturer on their production ability and commitment to quality. If the factory qualifies, we will work closely with the supplier to make sure they fulfill our client’s requirements.
