Sorry new to guitars, how do I know which string size to get? And what is a pitch pipe?
A. I assume that by string size you mean gauge, so to answer your question it comes down to personal choice. A lighter gauge gives a finer tonal quality while a heavier gauge gives a more distinct tone. If you are not sure, it would probably be best to go with the lighter gauge. As for the pitch pipe, it is an inexpensive way to tune your guitar. There are 6 pitches to match your strings, and the idea is to tune your string until it matches the pitch of the note you are blowing on the pitch pipe. eg: E string.
