Sophos says I have a virus, but I can not get rid of it?
Run a scan under Sophos on the directory where the virus resides. Relax. Most viruses cannot hurt your system unless they are run by the user or a program. The most common viruses will come onto your system through your email software. Sophos will detect these viruses, but often will not delete it automatically. To manually delete the virus, perform a virus scan through Sophos on the directory where the virus was detected. For email viruses, this will often be C:\ProgamFiles\Eudora\Attach.
