Sometimes when I look at satellite or radar images the links are broken or they don load. Whats happening?
The url (that is, the address) of each image is obfuscated to stop robots and web-scrapers from taking them. In some cases this also causes some certain browsers to stop loading the image before it’s ready for downloading. This leads to a “broken image” icon, even when the image is there to be loaded. Usually a right-click on the broken image, and then selecting “Load Image” or “Show Picture” (depending on your browser) will fix the problem.
