No, students may not take an immediate retest. They must register for a class. However, as in the ESL classes, ACR students are all given a First Day Exam. This is a multiple choice departmental exam, not the ACT. ACR 094 students who do well on the First Day Exam may be moved to ACR 095. Students who do exceptionally well on the First Day Exam may be sent to make an appointment to take the ACT again.
