Sometimes people complain that there is a lot of contamination inside the plant. Do we have data on the health status of radiation workers in the plant to convince the public?
No worker has been exposed more than the permissible limit. This is the conclusion from data collected for individual worker of the station. Exposure data of every radiation worker is maintained by Directorate of Radiation Protection and Health Physics Division of BARC in addition to the plant management. These agencies ensure that no worker is exposed beyond permissible limits.
