This is a feature of Deep Freeze Professional called “Maintenance mode” that allows the computers to make permanent changes.Instead of having to manually update certain software, the computers are set to reboot, update appropriate programs and then shutdown for the day. The keyboard and mouse are disabled to prevent tampering. This also simplifies getting things ready for our staff. All they have to do to get a computer ready for a given day is to push one button: the power button! Unless there is a problem, there’s no other intervention required.
