It was discovered that for some PCs running Windows 98/ME, pressing the Alt key and the Windows-Start key (the one next to the Alt key) at the same time causes the keyboard to stop responding. The keyboard is in fact in a state where the Alt key stays down. This is caused by the third party driver used to disable keys such as Control-Alt-Delete. The immediate solution I implemented is to allow the Alt key to be disabled. This was added in version 3.62. Under the Security tab in setsurf, uncheck Alt. This will have the effect of disabling the Alt key and take care of that problem. This does not apply to Windows NT/2000.
