This is a common issue with PAL consoles and is a glitch that MS have never gotten ’round to fix =| I assume that you are using a VGA cable as this issue is usually raised by users of the VGA cable which, unfortunately, houses a number of bugs! Anyway, here’s your diagnosis: You must be using a Component cable in HD mode 1) Enter the System blade of your dashboard and select Console Settings 2) Select Display and then HDTV Settings 3) Opt to change your display to the lowest configuration (480p) 4) When asked by your system if “These Display Settings appear Correct?” select ‘Yes’ 5) You will then be asked by your system at what frequency your Console should output. You will be prompted “Currently displaying at 50Hz, does this display appear correct?” – select NO (this is critical as this is causing the error) 6) Your display will have now automatically configured itself to display at 60Hz, the only frequency capable by the VGA cable. 7) Re-insert your VGA cable and run your video to se
