Some on campus are calling for the elimination of the Tuition Differential entirely. If that happened, how would graduate education at CUPPA be affected?
CUPPA expects that its share of FY10 differential tuition will total $1.06M. Because salaries of faculty and staff are by far the largest component of each CUPPA Academic Departments budget, usually in excess of 80%, if this Tuition Differential income were eliminated, it would mean the firing of faculty and staff, which may potentially result in the loss or reduction of accreditation for one or both of our academic departments.
