Some of the images dont display, or the Random Sample slide show takes too long to open. What can I do to speed up the performance of this site?
You can improve the performance of any site in any browser by adjusting the browsers cache settings. These items are usually found in the browsers Preferences menu; if you have trouble finding them, search the browsers online help manual for the word cache. The following settings are recommended: File cache size: 20 megabytes Maximum folder size: 20 megabytes You should also empty the cache. The more you use the Internet, the more frequently you should empty the cache. This step alone will usually cause a significant improvement in performance. This site was designed for Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6. Allow extra time to download images if you are using a dial-up Internet service.
