Some of the bulbs are ETL Listed while the others are UL Listed. Whats the difference?
A. ETL (Interteck) and UL (Underwriters Laboratory) are both well known and established testing facilities. Like the UL Mark, the ETL Listed Mark shows that the product has been independently tested by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). These products have met met the minimum requirements of widely accepted product safety standard. Both ETL and UL marks are assurances that the product has been tested and will perform in a safe predictable manner. Although not as well known as UL, ETL tests products made by Dell, AT&T, General Electric, Ericsson, Panasonic & Philips and is accepted in well known North American Retailers including Sears, Costco, JCPenney and Target.
