A. Much of the material on-line is scanned from photocopies, so the screen quality depends upon the quality of the material submitted. Charts, tables, and images and text on dark backgrounds do not scan well. We also try to balance the degree of resolution vs. file size for optimum output and fast downloading. Depending on your printer, usually the print quality will be better than the screen quality. Remember, for easier viewing you can always enlarge the page size by clicking on the magnification icon in Acrobat Reader.
