Some of my institution’s degree offerings are not reflected in the instructional program classifications. Why?
The instructional program classifications are based on the record of degree conferrals. For most institutions, we used degree data from 2003-04 but in some cases, we averaged data over two or three years to enhance stability. Because the classifications are based on the degree record, they do not include programs that had not yet produced graduates and extant programs that did not produce graduates.
