It’s true that the Access to HE Diploma – like a number of other qualifications – is not yet in the UCAS Tariff. The main reason for this is that, until 2009-10, the qualification was ungraded, so it was not possible to identify the appropriate number of Tariff points for Access to HE students’ achievement. However, the Access to HE Diploma is a full Level 3 qualification (the same level as A levels) and is now awarded with grades. It is probably best to contact the employer directly to explain this situation.
