Some applicants have long formal approval processes. Can the deadline for applications be extended to allow applicants enough time to get their applications approved and submitted?
Unfortunately, CDC is not able to extend the application deadline for any applicant. CDC must award federal funds by September 30, or the funding will revert back to the U.S. Treasury and no awards could be made. That deadline for awarding funds could not be met if the deadline for submitting applications were extended.
