So, why don disadvantaged distributors just file a lawsuit?

Well, it shows just how threatening these practices are that distributors are now considering legal action. For years, the hope has been that our manufacturer “partners” would recognize this problem and solve it. It now seems clear those manufacturers are unable or unwilling to do so and while they don’t like the result, are too beholden to the GPO’s to do the right thing. The very last thing that distributors want to do is go to court against the makers of the products we sell. So, now, distributors are embarking on an educational campaign as a last-ditch effort to avoid costly and time-consuming legal conflict.
